Rules of operation, procedure and conduct
The Rules of Operation, Procedure and Conduct are aimed at ensuring the smooth execution of each phase of the Commission’s work: the Commission’s employees’ duty to exercise restraint and discretion, preparing witnesses, public and closed hearings, public consultations, presenting evidence and managing documents.
The Rules also establish the open court principle while allowing for the possibility, in order to protect certain rights, of holding closed hearings or subjecting certain types of evidence to confidentiality orders.
